My friend, Terri, brought some kale chips over a few months ago and Meredith and I loved them but I’ve not made them till this week. This week I have made pan after pan of them because one bag makes so many and won’t keep long.  

The only ingredients are kale, olive oil, and salt. 

I bought the bag of prewashed and torn kale, olive oil cooking spray, and salt. 

Be sure to remove all of the stems. The chips are better if there are not stems at all. 

   
  
Spread the kale in a single layer, spray with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.  Bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes then turn the pan and bake for 5-7 minutes more. Remove from the oven and let sit for 3 minutes. 

The chips should be eaten right away. They are lightly salty and crunchy.  They practically dissolve in your mouth. 

  
I like having a snack that is full of antioxidants. You can also season with seasoned salt, Parmesan cheese or whatever you have on hand.
