He loves visitors. He will run to your car as you pull up our drive and escort you up the walk. He will stay by your side for your entire visit to our farm. If you sit down on the porch, he will gently put his paw in your lap or on your arm. He will lean on you as you talk to others. If you happen to throw a stick while you’re here, all the better. He will be glad to go get it for you. He will walk you to your car when you leave.
He is the happiest dog I’ve ever known. If you pet him, he will wag his tail. If you talk to him, he will wag his tail. If he hears your voice, he will wag his tail. If you scold him, he will wag his tail. And his tail is no small matter. The groomer can’t leave him in the crate because she is afraid he will hurt his tail from wagging it in that small space.
But he doesn’t like to go to the groomer.
The Big Reveal
My snuffleupagus has been transformed into Flat Stanley. He nearly disappears when he lays down all stretched out. I think we might be able to just slide him right under the door.
Now our chief greeter should be a more welcome sight to our friends and family.
I hope you have a great day!
